A Divine Encounter
I was in a good place and open to finding a good connection, a healing connection when Serendipity chimed in!
A dear friend introduced me to a dear friend of hers. And a story began….
I met him in Feb 2021. It was the strangest meeting.
A close friend set us up. By then she had known him for a year and me for four years.
She thought we were a match made in heaven.
She was not wrong.
But she was not right either.
Loretta had been talking to me about him for some time and to him as well about me.
But I was emotionally preoccupied, to say the least, so I was only being polite when I said yes to meeting him.
“I would like you to meet someone. I think it will help you. I have been talking to him about you and he wants to take you for a walk. It will do you both some good if you get together and have some conversations. He is new in town.”
Loretta interrupted my chain of daydreams while I sat on my couch looking and the bright blue sky covering the lush green grass in my backyard.
“Loretta, I am not ready,” I said continuing my daydream.
